Classic black castor oil is wonderful and also extremely committed. This lighter blend cuts it with moringa and argan so fine, wavy and freshly straightened hair gets the same conditioning without the flat, greasy second day.
It's formulated as a heat protectant, so it goes on damp before blow-drying and again in the smallest amount on dry ends to kill frizz. The scent is softer than the traditional roast, which matters if you're applying it before work.
Why we picked it
- Lighter viscosity built for fine and low-density hair
- Moringa and argan for slip and shine
- Use as a pre-heat protectant before blow-dry or press
- Milder scent than traditional roasted castor oil
How to style it
One pump on mid-lengths before a round-brush blowout, half a pump on the ends after.
